A car traveling on the Koyambedu flyover in Chennai caught fire, the driver of the car jumped and the 40-year-old male passenger who was sitting inside the car was charred to death as the car was locked. Through the visuals, grey and black smoke coming from the car parked on the flyover.

Later, the scene was attended by the local police officers. According to sources, by the time the flames were extinguished, the car was completed blunt. The driver had given the statement where he said that the passenger was carrying flammable paintings which caught fire. Not only this, the driver had burns on his back and hand since the fire started from the rear.
